Matt Ayvazzadeh

Past President

Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2014 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Over the past 6 years, his storm drainage designs have been presented at regional conferences and received high praises and interest from Wisconsin government officials as well as other engineering firms. Matt has completed designs for businesses of all sizes, including Uline and the 1 million square foot Amazon facility. This past February Matt joined Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) as a sales engineer, working with municipalities to help update their current storm sewer specifications. Away from work, Matt loves spending time with his wife Lauren (married last August) and spending time in the outdoors. Matt has traveled to 49 of our 50 states and started and manages a non-profit organization to introduce fishing to underprivileged youth.

Teddy Martin

President

Teddy received his undergraduate degree in Construction Engineering from Marquette University in 2021 along with a minor in Civil Engineering. As a student, Teddy was an active member of Marquette’s ASCE student chapter and served as its president for the 2020-2021 academic year. Currently, he is a Senior Project Manager at Phoenix Investors in Milwaukee managing the construction activities for capital improvements in their industrial real estate portfolio.

Ben Quintero

Vice President

Ben Quintero graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering, focusing on transportation, from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in May 2022. While at MSOE, Ben was a member of the ASCE student chapter, and active in the Concrete Canoe team. He currently works at Strand Associates as a transportation engineer.

Nicholas Titterton

Treasurer

Nicholas received his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Marquette University in 2021 and 2023, respectively, focusing on structural engineering. During his time at Marquette, he was a teaching assistant for multiple civil engineering courses, and he participated in Marquette’s Graduate Student Organization as the Social Chair and then as the Vice President. Nicholas currently works at HGA as a Structural Staff member.

Annabelle Fritz

Secretary

Annabelle graduated from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering in December 2021. While at UWM, Annabelle did research with architecture professor James Wasley focusing on sustainable wasterwater treatment and green living. She now works at HNTB as a Drainage Engineer.

Ethan King-Polich

Co-Social Chair

Ethan graduated in 2022 with a B.S. in Geological Engineering and then in 2023 with a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at UW-Madison, he participated in undergraduate research focusing on using fiber optic sensing to measure rock strain in high-pressure environments. Ethan is currently working as a Geotechnical Engineer for HNTB in Milwaukee, designing deep and shallow foundations, cut and fill walls, ponds, culverts and more.

Cole McCraw

Cole graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2017. In 2016, Cole was a co-founder of the UW-Madison Environmental Engineering Club, and served as its Vice President of Campus Events. Cole is an Assistant City Engineer for the City of Mequon.

Greg Dieter

Co-Student Chapter Liaison

Greg received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering at Purdue University before working with Strand Associates as a municipal design engineer. Greg developed design intuition in stormwater conveyance and civil infrastructure, before transitioning into a Thesis Master’s program at Marquette University. Greg’s research focused on remote sensing, the urban heat island effect, and thermal pollution of urban stormwater runoff leveraging Python and drone imagery. After completing his degree, Greg began work as a Water Resources Engineer with Confluency, LLC. With Confluency, Greg provides support as a project and development engineer, helping to develop data-driven and outcome-oriented workflows in capital improvement planning, stormwater conveyance operations, wet-weather system optimization, and multi-factor geospatial prioritization.

Max Hakanen

Co-Student Chapter Liaison

Max Hakanen graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus of Construction Management in May of 2021. While at MSOE, Max was an active member of Concrete Canoe. Ha currently works at Payne and Dolan as a Project Manager. Additionally, Max is an Amry Reserve Engineering Officer, working with the Army Core of Engineers as a Civil Engineer.
